MEDICAL DISCOVERIES INC. ACQUIRES GLOBAL CLEAN ENERGY HOLDINGS, LLC
Los Angeles Alternate Energy Firm To Be Wholly Owned Subsidiary

SALT LAKE CITY, Utah, - September 12, 2007 -- Medical Discoveries, Inc. (OTCBB: MLSC) today announced its acquisition of Global Clean Energy Holdings LLC, a Los Angeles-based alternate energy firm. (www.gceholdings.com), a wholly owned subsidiary of Mobius Risk Group, LLC, a privately held Houston based energy risk management firm. (www.mobiusriskgroup.com).

Global Clean Energy Holdings, LLC (GLOBAL) owns intellectual properties and legal entitlements relating to biofuels feedstock development and operations, with international implications for feedstock research, agricultural development, production and distribution. The company plans to develop alternate feedstocks for the biofuels industry which are derived from non-food plants, including Jatropha curcas, a hardy succulent with oil-rich seeds.

"This alternate energy venture represents a timely and significant change in strategic direction for our company," said David Walker, MDI's Chairman. "Developing and distributing non-food based feedstocks provides an enormous opportunity to MDI's shareholders to participate in a fragmented biofuels industry, which has mainly been driven by high priced, food-based feedstocks."

According to Richard Palmer, GLOBAL's Chief Executive Officer and President, "The investment in Global provides an opportunity for MDI to focus its resources and make a difference in the economy and the environment. The growing demand for biofuels and the controversy surrounding the philosophical and economic issues associated with utilizing food-based oils in the production of biofuels makes this a very wise and timely investment for MDI."

Medical Discoveries, Inc., a Utah based biopharmaceutical research and development firm, began searching for strategic alternatives to enhance shareholder value in March of 2007. The acquisition of Global Clean Energy Holdings, LLC represents the latest result to date of that process.
